Shared Education
We are delighted to have secured funding to recommence our Shared Partnership with Knockbreda Primary School, St Bernard's Primary School and St Bernard’s Pre-School for the 2022-2023 Academic Year.

During this year, we will aim to meet twice per term to enjoy activities with a focus on effective early mathematical development, including best practice in Nursery-Primary transition.

Ship Ahoy! Topic
We have very much enjoyed our ‘Ship Ahoy!’ Topic. We have learnt all about pirates, treasure maps, mermaids, ships and much much more!

Hats and Shades day
Our Hats and Shades day was to learn all about how to be safe in the sun! We raised £55 for the Cancer Fund for Children. Well Done everyone!

Exploris
To complement our ‘At the Beach’ Topic and ‘Ship Ahoy’ Topic Exploris came with their touch tank! We had lots of fun learning about all the different sea creatures and how to keep the sea clean and look after the animals.

Party Animals NI
To finish of our ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ Topic we had a visit from Party Animals NI. David brought lots of animals to show us including an African Millipede, Hissing Cockroaches, a snake, a bearded dragon and a chinchilla!

In this topic we have loved watching our caterpillars grow into butterflies! 🐛🦋 We have been very good at looking after them and giving them everything they need before they fly away. We have also enjoyed fining our own insects in the environment, including lots of snails, ladybirds and spiders! 🐌🐞🕷

Recycling Rat visit
♻ On Tuesday we had an exciting visit from Mr Rat’s Recycling Show. Here we learnt all about what we can and can’t recycle, which bin to use and how to keep places clean and litter free! We enjoyed the story very much! ♻

Sports Cool

Over the last 10 weeks we have been very lucky to have a weekly Sports Cool lesson with Coach Gary. He has taught us lots of fundamental skills, yoga and even golf! We have thoroughly enjoyed these lessons!
Debutots

Over the last 9 weeks we have enjoyed a weekly session of Debutots. In these sessions we dip our tiny toes into the world of stories, words and sounds. The children delight in a multi-sensory blend of storytelling, puppets, bubbles and music. Each week activities are sent home so that parents can explore the story at home too!
Wake Up Spring! Topic
In this topic we have ben learning all about Spring and growth! We have enjoyed spring cleaning our home corner and planting different seeds in Forest School. We have found out about the importance of recycling and how we can help at school and home. We have also loved talking about when we were a baby and how much we have grown!
