Admissions

You can find lots of information about our school through this website.

We are delighted to be able to hold an open morning on Saturday 30th November 2024 between 10.00am - 12noon. This is an opportunity for parents to ask any questions or queries, to see around our wonderful school and to chat to the staff. We are providing a further opportunity to visit our school on Thursday 9th January 2025 between 2.00-3.00pm for anyone unable to attend in December.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any queries that you may have. Our School Office hours are Monday-Friday 9.15am - 12.45pm.

Applications for the admission of children for 2025/2026 school year will be taken in line with the process for admissions from the Department of Education.

All verification documents should be uploaded via the online application portal. Please do not bring verification documentation to the school office. Once you have submitted your application online, you will be prompted by the EA online system to upload your verification documents.

Knockbreda Nursery offers full time places (School hours are 8.30am - 1.00pm). The Hub Club offers extended after school provision from 1.00pm to 3.00pm for pupils (during term time and in line with all school closures/ early finishes).

Important information about the 2025 admissions procedure:

Applications should be made through the Education Authority’s online application portal. Information in relation to the process is published by the Education Authority on their website here.

A timetable of pre-school admissions procedures setting out the dates by which an application is to be submitted is available at www.eani.org.uk/admissions under ‘Pre-School Admissions’. During the admissions procedure when applying the criteria punctual applications will be considered before late applications are considered.

The application procedure opens on 10 January 2025 at 12noon (GMT) and an application submitted by the closing date of 24 January 2025 at 12noon (GMT) will be treated as a punctual application. An application received after 12noon (GMT) on 24 January 2025 will be treated as a late application

Supporting documentation must to be provided to the setting selected as first choice . The Education Authority has introduced an online process for the provision of supporting documentation and Benefit verification on their website.
