Christmas visit
The children from Nursery enjoyed visiting Knockbreda Primary School, to watch their Christmas production. The children loved the many songs and beautiful costumes!

The children at Knockbreda Nursery School sparkled like stars and sang like angels in our Christmas Nativity performances.

Open Morning 2015
Knockbreda Nursery had a busy Open Morning on Saturday 5th December 2015. Thanks to all the families who attended, despite the wet weather! We hope you enjoyed your visit!
For any parents/ carers who were unable to attend on Saturday 5th December, there will be a short Open Afternoon on Wednesday 16 December 2015 from 2.15-3pm.
The Christmas Elf
Nursery was visited by Santa's Christmas ELF (Environmental Litter Friend). The children found out how to keep Belfast tidy and clean, ready for Santa's arrival!
A visit from the Owlman
The children at Nursery thoroughly enjoyed a visit from the Owlman! They learnt all about barn owls and eagle owls.

It's an emergency!
The children enjoyed a visit from the local fire brigade and were most excited to explore the fire engine! Sincere thanks to the fire officers who have helped to bring our 'people who help us' topic to life!
Children In Need
The children at Knockbreda Nursery enjoyed wearing their Pudsey ears, making Pudsey biscuits and decorating masks for Children in Need!

High Standards at Knockbreda Nursery School
Staff at Knockbreda Nursery are committed to high standards and have recently been commended by Legal Island for completing their online Child Protection and Safeguarding Training modules. Well done and thanks to all the staff team!
Boogie Fit Day
The children at Knockbreda Nursery School enjoyed learning more about staying fit and healthy during Boogie Fit Day! We talked about how our bodies work, what foods are healthy to eat and how important exercise is!
Of course, lots of fun was had dancing at every opportunity throughout the day! Thank you for all the generous contributions to this worthy cause.
Well done to our best Boogie Fit dancers who won a special t-shirt!
Parent and Carer Drop In Evening

A very important visitor!
On Wednesday 30th September 2015, Knockbreda Nursery School enjoyed a visit from the Minister of Education. Mr O'Dowd was most impressed that all of the Nursery children were staying for lunch and he thought our mealtime manners were beautiful!
