Nursery was visited by Santa's Christmas ELF (Environmental Litter Friend). The children found out how to keep Belfast tidy and clean, ready for Santa's arrival!
A visit from the Owlman
The children at Nursery thoroughly enjoyed a visit from the Owlman! They learnt all about barn owls and eagle owls.

High Standards at Knockbreda Nursery School
Staff at Knockbreda Nursery are committed to high standards and have recently been commended by Legal Island for completing their online Child Protection and Safeguarding Training modules. Well done and thanks to all the staff team!
Boogie Fit Day
The children at Knockbreda Nursery School enjoyed learning more about staying fit and healthy during Boogie Fit Day! We talked about how our bodies work, what foods are healthy to eat and how important exercise is!
Of course, lots of fun was had dancing at every opportunity throughout the day! Thank you for all the generous contributions to this worthy cause.
Well done to our best Boogie Fit dancers who won a special t-shirt!

A very important visitor!
On Wednesday 30th September 2015, Knockbreda Nursery School enjoyed a visit from the Minister of Education. Mr O'Dowd was most impressed that all of the Nursery children were staying for lunch and he thought our mealtime manners were beautiful!

Let's Celebrate!
The children in Mrs Patterson's class thoroughly enjoyed performing their favourite Nursery songs, rhymes and poems for their family and friends. It was a lovely afternoon and a wonderful way to mark the end of Nursery!
The children especially enjoyed an ice-cream treat, after all their hard work performing!
Nursery Celebration
The family and friends of the children in Dr Mitchell-Barrett's class enjoyed songs and rhymes as part of our end of year celebration event. The children all performed with enthusiasm and thoroughly enjoyed sharing their special memories and favourite Nursery songs!

Hats and Shades Day
Children at Knockbreda Nursery put on their hats and shades to raise money for the Cancer Fund for Children. They also had lots of fun learning about how to keep safe in the sun!
